Dear john,
In the US, we celebrate Thanksgiving on November 25th this year.
Our neighbors to the north, Canada, also celebrate Thanksgiving.
However, their celebration is a month earlier. For those of you
who don't celebrate Thanksgiving, there are plenty of harvest
activities included here as well as in our "fall" section of the
website.
In this edition, you will find a collection of articles to help
you create crafts, decorate and set the table, plan the
Thanksgiving meal, cook the perfect turkey, carve a turkey and
give you ideas using your turkey leftovers. We even offer ideas
on how to teach your children to be thankful!
For the classroom, we have a list of craft ideas, before and
after table prayers, animated jigsaw puzzles, word search games,
harvest coloring pages, turkey coloring pages, Pilgrim coloring
pages, Native American coloring pages, children's book reviews,
party games, poems, short stories, videos, and a copy of the

With the state of the world these days, it's easy to focus on the
negative. We're so very grateful to our website visitors,
newsletter subscribers, Twitter followers and Facebook Fans. We
are especially grateful to our men and women in service who
protect our freedom. We appreciate you!
As all the winter holidays approach, we're reminded that we don't
need turkey or a national holiday to show thanks. Sometimes, the
simplest gestures make the most impact. Show gratitude - do
something nice for someone. You may be surprised how it comes
back to you!
